Heat Resistant Conveyor Belt
Covered with heat resistant rubber the belt is made of multi-ply rubber polyester rubber. Vulcanization is the method used to ensure the rubber fits in the belt, it is very ideal for the transport of cement, coke, hot casting and clinker. The belt specifications are similar to conventional conveyor belts. However, there are three types of heat resistant conveyor. This ensures that each heat resistant conveyor belt is manufactured according to its requirements during use and a heat test is conducted accordingly.
- Type I – this conveyor resists the 100degrees C.
- Type II – operates under temperatures if 125 degrees C.
- Type III – able to operate at temperatures of upto150 degrees C.
- Type IV –able to operate with temperatures of up to 175 degrees C.
